The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) is a globally recognised third-party certification body delivering certainty for over 150 years.
Part of BRE, the LPCB has worked with industry and insurers since 1868 to set the standards needed to make sure that fire and security products and services perform effectively.

Loss prevention standards
The internationally respected suite of Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) give confidence to manufacturers, specifiers, and end-users that fire safety products and services will work effectively. This includes measures to prevent and detect fires, fire alarms and fire suppression. The standards also cover security systems, providing confidence in the level of protection against risks such as break-ins and terrorist attack.
